LinkClean is a local-first Chrome extension that cleans your LinkedIn feed by hiding promoted posts, suggested content, polls, reshares, and newsletter ads. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

What We Store

• ✓ Filter preferences — which post types to hide (promoted, suggested, polls, etc.)
• ✓ Hidden post counter — how many posts have been hidden (session and all-time counts)

What We Do NOT Collect

• ✗ No personal identifying information (name, email, address)
• ✗ No LinkedIn account data or credentials
• ✗ No browsing history or visited URLs
• ✗ No post content or feed data
• ✗ No analytics or usage tracking data
• ✗ No data sent to external servers

Data Storage

All data is stored locally using:

• • Chrome Storage API — for filter settings and counters

No data leaves your device. LinkClean has no server, no accounts, no cloud sync. Everything is processed locally in your browser.

Permissions Explained

Third-Party Services

LinkClean does not use any third-party services and does not share your data with anyone.

Data Deletion

Uninstall the extension to remove all locally stored data. You can also clear extension data via Chrome Settings > Extensions > LinkClean > Details > Clear data.

Children's Privacy

LinkClean is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
