Our 7-Step Research Process

Each article goes through a structured research pipeline before publication. This process ensures accuracy, completeness, and practical relevance for marketing professionals making purchasing decisions.

Before writing, we analyze the top 10 Google results for the target keyword. We map competitor content structure, identify gaps, and ensure our article covers every angle competitors address, plus areas they miss.

Hands-On Tool Testing

For every tool review, we sign up for a free trial or paid account and test core features ourselves. Screenshots, pricing tables, and feature comparisons come from direct experience, not marketing materials. Where possible, we test tools over 2+ weeks to evaluate real-world performance.

Pricing Verification

All pricing data is verified against the official pricing page on the day of writing. We include the exact tiers, features per tier, and any hidden costs (setup fees, overages, add-ons). Pricing articles are marked with a "Last verified" date and updated when changes are detected.

Data-Backed Claims

Every statistic cited in our articles includes a source link. We prioritize primary sources: company reports, G2/Capterra aggregated data, Gartner research, HubSpot's State of Marketing, and Statista. We do not fabricate numbers or use unverifiable claims.

We analyze real user reviews from G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, and Reddit to identify common pain points, use cases, and satisfaction patterns. This ensures our pros/cons lists reflect actual user experience, not just feature lists.

Every article passes an automated quality audit before publication: word count, heading structure, internal links, FAQ completeness, meta description length, data freshness, source attribution, comparison tables, and more. Articles that fail any check are revised before going live.
