Direct answer

On September 5, 2026, the official pages in this three-product snapshot listed GitHub Copilot Pro at $10 per user per month, Cursor Pro at $20 per month, and Devin Pro at $20 per month. The Windsurf pricing URL returned a page branded Devin. These entry subscription prices do not buy equivalent quantities of agent work. GitHub describes AI Credits, Cursor describes included model usage with paid overage, and Devin describes daily and weekly allowances.

This report publishes 11 selected plan rows from three official pricing pages, including free plans and two team plans. It is a dated comparison of billing structures, not a complete market census or a ranking of coding quality. The lowest paid individual entry price among these three observed products is Copilot Pro at $10 per month. That is a price comparison only. It does not establish the lowest cost per accepted change or per completed task.

Cursor’s $20 Pro and $40-per-user Teams Standard prices correspond to the active default tiers with monthly billing selected, confirmed in the official page HTML on September 5. The page also named Pro+, Ultra, and Teams Premium, but the captured text did not clearly associate prices with those inactive tiers, so they are omitted. Enterprise quotes, annual billing, legacy subscriptions, student eligibility, taxes, and extra usage are outside the table. An omitted plan is not a claim that the plan is unavailable.

Price chart and reusable data

The chart compares only the three selected individual Pro subscriptions. Its bars start at zero and show monthly subscription dollars; they do not represent token allowances, productivity, or model quality.

The dataset keeps a team base fee separate from the seat fee. Its one_seat_monthly_usd field is their sum, so a Devin Teams row has a one-seat subscription cost of $120. That derived value should not be misquoted as its per-seat price.

Why usage allowances are not interchangeable

A subscription dollar, an AI credit dollar, a completion, and an agent request measure different things. Dividing each subscription by a headline allowance without checking its definition can produce a misleading cost comparison.

GitHub’s captured page lists total monthly AI Credits of $15 for Pro, $70 for Pro+, and $200 for Max. Those totals include respective flex allotments of $5, $31, and $100. The page explicitly says flex allotments may change over time. Preserve that qualifier when citing the totals. They are usage allowances in the product, not cash refunds or transferable API balances.

GitHub also lists 2,000 monthly completions for Free and unlimited code completion for Pro. The latter does not make chat, agents, or code review unlimited: the comparison explains that Copilot features consume AI Credits, with usage varying by model. Buying a plan because of the word “unlimited” requires checking which feature that word modifies.

Cursor’s page describes a set amount of model usage and on-demand usage billed in arrears after the included amount is consumed. It does not expose a stable numeric task allowance in the captured pricing text. Devin describes an allowance that refreshes daily and weekly, with extra usage at API pricing. It says message cost varies with model, task size, complexity, and reasoning. Neither description supports converting the entry subscription into a guaranteed number of completed coding tasks.

How team base fees change the calculation

For the two selected team plans, use base fee plus seat count multiplied by seat fee. This is a subscription worksheet, not a comparison of team functionality or bundled compute.

Devin’s unlimited team members or flex seats should not be substituted for full developer seats in that calculation. Copilot organizational plans were not captured in this individual-plans evidence set and are excluded from the team comparison.

For budgeting, add taxes where applicable, extra model usage, separate integrations, and human review. A lower subscription can still have a higher total workflow cost when it requires more retries or review. Choosing the next step for your workflow

Start with a representative task and a spending boundary, then compare the result against your own acceptance criteria. Record whether the change passed its checks, how much review it required, and whether the task exhausted an allowance. Keep the repository and acceptance criteria consistent across trials.

This is a purposive, reproducible snapshot of public list prices, not a purchase test. The three products were selected as adjacent choices for readers of this site’s coding-adoption research. No search-volume estimate or representative market coverage is claimed.

The scope covers selected individual plans from these three pages and two team plans with explicit base or seat fees. Copilot organizational plans and other coding assistants are not included; this is not a complete team-buying shortlist.

Official pricing-page text was retrieved on September 5, 2026. Prices with clear plan associations were transcribed into a source manifest; downloadable formats and the chart were generated from those rows. Derived team totals use only the published base and seat fees. Missing numeric limits remain explicitly undisclosed rather than zero.

The observed Windsurf-to-Devin branding is retained in the table so readers can understand why older Windsurf comparisons differ. This snapshot does not establish the transition date or the terms of existing accounts. Pricing pages and flex allowances can change; confirm the current billing screen before subscribing. No subscription was purchased and no product-performance experiment was run for this report.

Which selected coding assistant has the lowest Pro subscription price?

Does unlimited code completion mean unlimited agent usage?
