Overview

ChatPull is a local-first browser extension that exports AI chat conversations from supported pages into Markdown, JSON, HTML or browser-print PDF. Chat parsing and export happen in your browser. The current build does not require an account, cloud sync, telemetry endpoint or remote code.

Data Accessed

ChatPull reads visible chat page content only when you open the side panel or trigger an export on a supported AI chat website. Host permissions are scoped to active parser domains.

Permissions Explained

storage Save language/debug preferences and the most recent parsed chat cache locally.

tabs Find the active supported AI chat tab and message the content script only when the user requests detection or export.

contextMenus Add the user-initiated Export with ChatPull action on supported AI chat pages.

sidePanel Display the ChatPull side panel where users review detected messages and choose export formats.

clipboardWrite Copy clean Markdown only after the user clicks Copy Markdown or uses the export context-menu flow.

offscreen Support Manifest V3 clipboard writing from the context-menu path when no extension page is focused.

host permissions Read visible chat DOM only on the supported AI chat domains listed in the Chrome extension manifest.

Website Analytics

This marketing page is part of konabayev.com and may use the site's standard analytics configuration through the shared layout. That site analytics is separate from the ChatPull extension. The extension build described here has no active telemetry endpoint.

Data Deletion

Remove the extension to delete extension-local storage, or open ChatPull Options and click Clear cache to remove the recent chat cache without uninstalling the extension.

Limited Use

ChatPull uses accessed chat content only to provide the user-facing export feature. Chat content is not sold, used for advertising, transferred to data brokers or reviewed by humans.
