FAQ
Is LinkViz free?
Yes. All core features are free — highlighting, statistics, export, and SPA support. No ads, no tracking, no paywalls for core functionality.
Does LinkViz collect my data?
No. LinkViz makes zero network requests. Your settings are stored locally in Chrome storage. We don't know what pages you visit or what links you analyze.
What is the difference between dofollow and nofollow?
Dofollow links (no rel="nofollow" attribute) pass SEO authority from one page to another. Nofollow links tell search engines not to follow the link or pass authority. Since 2019, Google treats nofollow as a "hint" rather than a directive.
Does LinkViz work on single-page applications (SPAs)?
Yes. LinkViz uses MutationObserver to detect links added dynamically via JavaScript. It works on modern apps built with React, Vue, Angular, and on sites like Twitter and LinkedIn.
What does rel="sponsored" and rel="ugc" mean?
Google introduced these in 2019. rel="sponsored" marks paid or advertising links. rel="ugc" marks user-generated content like forum posts and blog comments. LinkViz detects and highlights both.
Can I export the link data?
Yes. LinkViz exports to CSV (with proper escaping for Excel/Sheets), JSON (for developers), and clipboard (tab-separated for quick pasting).
Ready to see every link's SEO value?
